Asus Zenfone Live L1 launched as an Android Go smartphone

Asus has announced a new smartphone in Indonesia under the Android Go program dubbed as Asus Zenfone Live L1. The smartphone has been launched as a part of the Android Go program and comes with Android Oreo Go Edition operating system. This is the first smartphone from Asus that is running the Android Go edition OS.

Asus Zenfone Live L1 is the first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone ever to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display. Not only the display, other specifications of this device are also better than all other Android Go smartphones available right now in the market. This smartphone is currently only available in the Indonesian market but soon it might come to the Indian market.

Coming to the specifications of the Asus Zenfone Live L1, the smartphone features a 5.5 inch 18:9 aspect ratio display with (1440 x 720) HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone even comes with a dedicated microSD card slot to expand memory up to 2TB.

The smartphone runs on Android Oreo (Go Edition) out of the box. The device is also available in a 2GB RAM variant as well but it comes with ZenUI. The smartphone comes with a 13MP camera at the rear and a 5MP shooter at the front for selfies. It even comes with face unlock feature. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. The price of the smartphone is not out yet but as it is an entry-level Android Go editions smartphone, the price will be below Rs. 10,000 if it comes to India.
