Zenfone Max

We have seen devices like Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Selfie doing great in 2015, so we expect the new device from Asus’s end to impress its fan this time as well. The ZenFone Max was unveiled at the ZenFestival in India last year, it comes with a hefty 5000 mAh battery that can also double up as a battery bank to charge other Android devices. Its main USP is the battery which offers 37.6 hours of 3G talk time and 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing.

The Asus ZenFone Max features a 5.5 inch HD (720 x 1080 pixels) display protected with Gorilla Glass 4 rating. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 64 GB. The rear camera is 13 MP while the front shutter is 5 MP with 85-degree wide-angle viewing support.

It comes with the Zen UI 2.0 based on the Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. On connectivity front, the device offers dual-SIM connectivity with other options like 3G, 4G, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0.

It will compete with smartphones like Gionee Marathon M5 (6050 mAh), M5 Plus (5020 mAh), Vibe P1 (4900 mAh) and Acer Liquid Z630s (4000 mAh). All these phones feature massive batteries and cost more than the Zenfone Max.
