Blackberry to Launch Evolve and Evolve X in India tomorrow

Blackberry is going to launch two new smartphones in India called the Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X. The company has released the teaser which shows the smartphones from different angles.

These devices were codenamed as Blackberry Ghost and Ghost Pro and are being manufactured in India’s Optiemus Infracom. The licensing deal with the Blackberry covers four counties; India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.

The Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X are going to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio on the display which is going to be the first in a Blackberry smartphone. The display seems to sport slim bezels around the display. The smartphone will feature a dual camera set up at the back which is clearly visible in the teaser video. The dual rear camera is going to be oriented vertically, which is also new in a Blackberry.

The smartphones will feature optical zoom and might be featuring great low light picture optimizations. The smartphone is going to feature a massive 4000 mAh battery.


The Blackberry Evolve and Evolve X are going to be launched on August 2nd which has been confirmed by the company on their social media page with the teaser. The smartphones are going to be available in India and a few other Asian markets. These two smartphones might get unveiled as Blackberry Ghost and Blackberry Ghost Pro in the global market.
