Canon has launched four inkjet photo printers, in its PIXMA series in India. These new cloud based printers include the flagship PIXMA MG7170, PIXMA MG6470, PIXMA MG3570, PIXMA MG2570 & MG2470. With these printers Canon will target home users and thus has also provided various color options.

Wireless and smart device connectivity, allows you to use them while on the move. Canon is enthusiastic about marketing and promoting the new range of Wi-Fi printers and is planning activities like mall activation, POS material, digital spends etc.

Speaking on this occasion Dr. Alok Bharadwaj, Executive Vice President, Canon India Pvt. Ltd, said, “2013 has been a game-changer for Canon where its Inkjet business grew by 25%. We see a very good business opportunity with teenagers and school going children with our proposition of Wi-Fi and Cloud printing. We are launching innovative marketing campaign using an astronaut to establish ‘always connected ‘smart printing devices.”

If you use original cartridges, your prints won’t fade with time. These printers have an Auto Power ON feature which will turn on the device whenever it detects a print command in turn help saving electricity. You can also edit the layout of images on paper using My Image Garden App. The Intelligent Touch System further simplifies user operation.

MG3570, MG6470 and MG7170 will provide you the option to save paper by offering 2 sided document printing. You can directly connect your Android and iOS devices with PIXMA printers by using PIXMA Printing Solutions App. PIXMA Cloud Link will also allows you to print from cloud and various other online sources directly.
