Dell XPS 13 featured

The new Dell XPS 13 laptop with minimal bezels and slim body has been launched in India. Announced globally in August, the Dell XPS 13 fits a 13-inch screen in an 11-inch form-factor, according to the company.

The minimal bezels are possible because the Dell XPS 13 features an Infinity Edge touchscreen display. It comes in the premium pricing segment with a price tag of Rs. 84,590. Powered by the Intel 8th generation core processors, the XPS 13 comes with a 170-degree viewing angle and 400 nits brightness.

XPS 13 Non-Touch Notebook

The XPS 13 is the latest premium laptop from Dell and it shows in the design – Dell has used a metal chassis and included all the essential ports with good specifications. It comes with a 13.3-inch Full HD AG (1920 x 1080p) touchscreen display. It is an Infinity Edge panel and comes with minimal bezels and a 170-degree viewing angle.

With an integrated webcam and a fingerprint reader, the XPS 13 supports Windows Hello, a new security feature in Windows 10. It also comes with a backlit standard QWERTY keyboard.

Coming to other core specifications, the XPS 13 is powered by 8th Generation Intel Core processors. It comes with up to 512GB PCIe Solid State Drive. You also get Intel integrated graphics.

Coming to the OS, you get Windows 10 preloaded and the range offers Microsoft Office for Home and Student in some offerings. In the other offerings, you get a Microsoft Office 30 day trial. The Windows 10 version also varies with the laptops in the XPS range.

The Dell XPS 13 sports a 60WHr battery which should be sufficient for heavy tasks. In terms of connectivity, you get WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm earphone jack. There are also 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 SD card reader, 1 Noble Lock slot, 1 Thunderbolt 3 (Type-C) port, VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, and USB Type-A port.
