Domo has launched Entry level device DOMO Slate X2G In India at 5990 INR. This is another addition to overcrowded budget tablet market in India. Features of this tablet are quite modest. Let’s see what this new budget tablet has to offer.

It comes with a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800 * 480 pixels which will give you a pixel density of about 138 pixels per inches which, although not being a very good display quality is standard in this price range tablets.

It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor. The number of cores has not been specified yet. The devise employs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating system but you will be able to update it to Android jelly bean O.S. With this modest chipset you can use this tablet for general purposes and social networking.

It has a primary camera of 2MP and a front VGA camera. this is also pretty standard camera specification considering this price range. For 3G connectivity this tab provides with 3G dongle support. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LAN connectivity options.

Internal storage is also pretty much standard at 4GB , some budget tabs like Milagrow MGPT04 offer you 16 GB storage. You can solve your limited storage problem by using a microSD card and extending it up to 32 GB.

The battery capacity of this tablet is rated at 3200 mAh. This decent enough battery backup and will last about 4 to 5 hours with moderate usage. Again Milagrow MGPT04 has a better battery capacity of 4000 mAh. Over all the features are quite simple and this tablet brings nothing new to the table. DOMO Slate X2G is priced at 5990 INR.
