Fitbit Blaze

Fitbit Blaze, launched earlier this year at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, is now available for purchase. The makers of fitness gadgets today announced that the Blaze is available for purchase at a price of $200. Fitbit Blaze will be available across all major retailers – online as well as offline. The Fitbit Blaze was available for pre-order so far, but the company has now opened the sale for all.

Fitbit Blaze Features

The Fitbit Blaze comes with a range of features for fitness buffs – it is not just an ordinary fitness tracker. Made out of stainless steel, the Fitbit Blaze is sharp and comes with a elastomer polymer for durability. At the center of it all is a color LCD display. This display will show you all your call and SMS alerts, apart from other alerts that you can configure. All day activity tracking, sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring and music control form the core of the Fitbit Blaze’s feature set.

Fitbit Blaze can last over 5 days on a single charge, so it should be one of the major talking points for users. A fully drained Blaze will take one to two hours to complete charging. Basic rain, dust and sweat proofing is present – Fitbit hasn’t revealed if it carriers any particular certification.

Fitbit Blaze Pricing and Availability

The Fitbit Blaze is available for purchase at all online stores and other major retailers at a price of $199.95. Note that this is the same as the pre-order price that Fitbit had set, but it looks like the Blaze will sell for this price from here on out.

The Fitbit Blaze comes with a black, blue or plum Classic fitness band. Consumers can personalize the look of their device through Fitbit’s Luxe line of accessories, with genuine leather bands available in black, saddle and mist grey and with stainless steel metal links. Additional accessories including new band and frame styles and colors will be available throughout the year.
