After the launch of Elife E5 Gionee mobiles have unveiled yet another phone of the popular Elife series, Gionee Elife E6. This flagship white OGS phone comes with 1.5 GHZ quad core processor combined with 5 inch full HD display. Elife E6 was launched in China and will arrive in India around August with a price tag of around 25,000 INR.
This phone is powered by the Turbo version of the MediaTek processor MT6589 series, i.e. MT6589T this processor is clocked at a frequency of 1.5 GHz unlike other members of this series with 1.2 GHz clock frequency. This elite processor is backed by a 2GB RAM and an internal storage memory of 32 + 2 GB, however this storage is not extendable. With these chipset specifications this phone won’t give you any lag while multitasking of graphic intensive gaming. This phone employs Android jelly bean 4.2 Operating system with Amigo user interface.
Gionee Elife E6 also boosts of a full HD 1080p 5 inch AMOLED Capacitive display which supports OGS. This gives you a pixel density of 441 ppi. This is an excellent quality display and is designed to reduce sunlight reflection and give you brighter images.
This device sports a primary camera of 13MP with f2.2 aperture and LED flash for low light photography. This camera is capable of full HD recording and has modified Android ROM software to enhance image quality. Other camera features include smile detection, HDR shooting and Panorama mode. Secondary camera of 5 Mp is also present for video calling along with dual speakers at the bottom.
Other connectivity features include 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS, Wi-Fi, micro USB AND A 3.5 mm audio jack. This phone is quite sleek at 6.58 mm and sports a unibody design with a comparatively light weight of 128 grams. It has a non removable polymer lithium 2020 mAh battery.
This phone also comes with a series of motion sensing and gesture control functions like enabling user to answer phone just by raising it to the ears, alarm clock will go to snooze when you flip the phone, automatic video play/pause with your head moment and volume control with your hand sweeping motion.
