Gionee india recently confirmed about their new phone called GPad G2 which we previously thought was Gionee E3 but as it looks like Gionee has decided to launch G2 GPad before E3 comes to indian market, Gionee G2 GPad is the successor of G1 GPad with a better design, more features, better camera and sleek and lighter in terms of weight, we will do a detailed comparison of the Gionee G2 GPad with G1 GPad very soon, so stay tuned, it is expected to price at around 13000 to 14000 INR the exact price will be announced in first week of may.
Gionee G2 GPad Specs [Confirmed]
Talking about the specs of Gionee G2 GPad we have 5.3 inch IPS LCD display with qHD 960 x 540 pixel resolution, it has a scratch resistant glass on the front. It has 1.2 Ghz quad core Cortex A7 MediaTek processor. It will have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal Storage with MicroSD memory card expansion slot, you will also get 16gb MicroSD card installed on the device for free. It will come with 8MP rear camera with auto focus and LED Flash and HD video record capability, the front camera on the device is 2 MP, it runs on Android OS, v4.1 Jelly bean out of the box.
You have assisted GPS on the device for navigation and sensors include Digital Compass, Proximity Sensor, G- Sensor, E-Compass. The device thickness is around 9.9 mm which is again less then than the thickness of Gionee G1 GPad we reviewed earlier. Apart from all this it will have all regular features like FM Radio, sound enhancement with YAMAHA 168 but it does not have notification LED for missed calls, sms messages and other alerts. It also have Dual SIM Dual Standby feature which allows you to use to two SIM cards on the device, it has a 3000mAh battery which should be sufficient to power up this phone.
Gionee GPad G2 Availability
Gionee GPad-G2 will be available in Grey & White color and comes bundled with a 16GB Memory card along with an in-built 4 GB memory available and a Flip leather case and Screen Guard. GPad-G2 will be available at leading mobile retail outlets across the country by first week of May 2013
