Chinese smartphone maker Gionee is planning to launch a mid-range smartphone in India this month. The phone is supposed to be the Gionee S10 Lite which is the toned-down version of Gionee S10 which was launched in China back in May.

Gionee launched its flagship S10 smartphone with four cameras in China and the handset was not introduced in India. Now, the company is planning to launch a lighter version of the phone in India called the Gionee S10 Lite. However, it is also to be noted here that Gionee has launched eight new bezel-less phones including Gionee S11, S11s and S11 in China back in November.

Now, according to a report published on 91mobiles citing industry sources, Gionee is gearing up to launch the S10 Lite in India. This comes as a surprise as the alleged S10 Lite phone doesn’t feature the bezel-less display, as per the reports. Let’s check out the full specs!

Gionee S10 Lite Specifications

If we talk about the specs, the Gionee S10 Lite features a 5.2-inch display with HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The company has not opted for full-screen display trend while they included a split screen and eye protection mode in the device as per the report.

Further, in the hardware section, the phone gets power from a Snapdragon 427 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The handset runs Amigo 4.0 UI based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

In the camera department, the highlight of the S10 Lite is its 16MP front camera with LED flash. Gionee also claims to offer facial recognition technology and advanced bokeh mode in the front camera for portrait selfies. On the rear there is a 13MP primary camera that comes with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and dual tone LED flash.

The phone is powered by a 3,100mAh battery. It also features a fingerprint scanner that is placed on the front home button.
