Google Pixel and Pixel XL No More a Secret, Specs And Photos Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Google, the software legend and the force behind Android is all set to launch its Pixel Series of phones tomorrow. Pixel will be the first series of mobiles which will be manufactured by Google on its own. Earlier Google’s collaboration with various companies has led to launch of many successful phones like the Nexus line up or the Moto line up.

Pixel is the result of selling Motorola to Lenovo. Now, Google is all set to introduce its own set of hardware. Google will be launching Pixel under two models. They will be Google Pixel and Pixel XL. But ahead of the launch the specifications have leaked out and these are similar to the earlier leaks.

These leaks were listed on Carphone warehouse and are subjected to change after the official launch tomorrow.

We can see from the leaks that these will be flagship phones running the latest and high end processors. We must also notice that they come with Android Nougat out of the box. Looking at the pictures of the phone, we can say that the design and build quality are given primal importance.

Leaks have also suggested that newly launched Google Allo and Duo will be in forefront in these devices. Even rumours say that personal assistant can be activated just by ‘Ok Google’ command or by pressing and holding the home button.

Leaks also suggest that this time Google is allowing us to save images with full resolution. This would be great news because editing can be easily carried out if the resolution is high and high resolution photos have their own advantages as well. But the only thing to worry would be the storage of these photos.

Google is also boasting of its new USB Type C charging port which is touted to give 7 hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging. Along with this, Google is also showcasing its which was introduced with the Nexus devices.

What to expect from Google?

A phone is a device which works with the interaction between hardware and software. A phone with rich software or a phone with brilliant hardware cannot be successful. So, optimization between software and hardware is necessary to come up with great devices. Apple is doing a phenomenal job in hardware software optimization.

Now with their own hardware manufacturing, Google can come up with a great hardware software optimization resulting in great devices. This will also be a channel to promote stock android which is found on very few devices.
