HP Slate 8 Plus Spotted and Coming to India Soon

Thanks to the WiFi certification database, we know now that HP is working on the Slate 8 Plus tablet. While the listing doesn’t reveal the entirety of the specs sheet that the device will come with, it does tell us that the device will have 2.4GHz + 5GHz dual band WiFi, something that is a growing need due to congestion in WiFi networks on the same frequency.

As the name suggests, the HP Slate 8 Plus will have an 8 inch display. The previous iteration had a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, akin to the iPad mini (1st gen). However, with the high-def fad fast catching up, you can expect HP to pull off something similar this time round.

The HP Slate 8 came with a quad-core Cortex A7 based processor, besides 1GB of RAM. While nothing can be said for certain as yet, but we expect to see a bump in both these segments; the Slate series has never been flagship and it isn’t expected to be with the Slate 8 Plus as well, but there’s definitely going to be something more than what we’ve previously seen… and perhaps and the same price point.
