HTC U11 EYEs with Dual Selfie cameras launched: Specs, price and more

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has just stepped into the dual selfie cameras game with the new HTC U11 EYEs in Taiwan and China markets. This is the company’s latest mid-range contender and comes with a big battery.

While HTC U11 EYEs comes with the same flagship cameras as the original U11, the phone comes with some other features. It comes with the HTC Edge Sense, Dual selfie cameras, an 18:9 aspect ratio display, and much more. With the dual front setup, you can get Bokeh effect as well as portrait beauty mode in your selfies.

For the uninitiated, the HTC U11 EYEs is the latest mid-range offering from HTC and comes equipped with dual selfie cameras. To start with, the phone features a 6 inch Super LCD 3 panel with full HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution. This display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.

Talking about the hardware, the company has equipped the device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. This processor is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, out of which about 53GB is available to the user. There is also a microSD card expansion option that allows up to 2TB expansion using the second SIM slot.


Coming to optics now, the device features a single 12MP primary camera with HTC UltraPixel 3. The camera comes with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, UltraSpeed Autofocus and an LED flash. The front camera is where the HTC U11 EYEs gets its name from. It is a dual 5MP lens combination that gives real-time bokeh effect and comes with f/2.2 aperture.

In terms of software, the HTC U11 EYEs runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with HTC Sense UI on top. The phone also gets the HTC Edge Sense for intuitive controls upon pressing the frames. It is powered by a 3,930mAh unit.

The HTC U11 EYEs is a Dual SIM 4G VoLTE smartphone that comes with Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options. Other than these, the device come in an IP67 water-resistant chassis and features HTC Boom Sound for better audio qualities.
