HTC Xperia XDS with 4 Inches Display and 5MP Camera at Rs. 16089 INR

It seems that now the phones which were released by HTC or Sony in the other part of the world are now making their way to India. Yesterday, we spotted Sony Xperia U on Flipkart and today we discovered HTC Desire X on Saholic. The specs of this phone are quite similar to the Sony Xperia M which was announced yesterday by Sony officially and so this means that it is also a mid range phone which will b competing with the phones under the price range of 20,000 INR.

HTC Phones are known for their designs and looks and this phone also fulfills the same expectation as you can see in the image. With the display size of 4 Inches and the resolution of 800 x 480 pixels this phone will be provide you decent clarity on the screen. The processor used on this phone is 1GHz Dual Core Processor (exact manufacturer of the processor has not been mentioned) with the 768 MB of RAM.

So, basically as per the performance parameters you can mostly use this phone for socializing rather than playing heavy games over it. The internal Storage of the device is not mentioned but it say that you will get the Dropbox account of worth 25GB (time period of that is also not mentioned) which is really good to store the data on the cloud. The storage capacity of the device can be extended up to 32GB with the help of external storage device.

This phone operates on Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) and no idea whether it will be upgradable to Jelly Bean or not. The battery strength is of 1650mAh which is decent to last for the day (with average usage). The biggest turn off on this phone is absence of secondary camera which is usually available even in the phone with the price of 5,000 INR and no video-calling will really take this phone off from the buyers’ list.


The primary camera available on this device is of 5MP with the support of LED flash and BSI sensor. You can buy this phone from Saholic and it is a Dual SIM smartphone with GSM support available on both the slots.
