On Monday, iBall announced a new 2 in 1 tablet hybrid based on Windows 8.1 platform. The device dubbed iBall Slide WQ149 is priced at Rs 21,999 and features a 10.1 inch display. Interestingly, the device doubles as a laptop on bundling a magnetic pogo pin keyboard that is integrated with a touchpad.
The iBall Slide WQ149 is given a 10.1 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and is equipped with a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z3735D quad-core processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. On the imaging front, the iBall tablet flaunts a 5 MP primary snapper that is complemented with a 2 MP front facing selfie camera as well.
Storage wise, the iBall Slide WQ149 is bundled with 32 GB of default storage capacity that can be expanded externally by another 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card. There are features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, mini HDMI, USB OTG and micro USB onboard the slate for connectivity and a 31.08 watt hour polymer battery powers the tablet.
Apart from all these aspects, the Windows 8.1 based tablet arrives with free 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage capacity and free subscription to Microsoft Office, each for one year.
