iBall is known for launching a slew of Android tablets into the market with reasonable price tags. Now, the manufacturer has come up with its very first Windows 8.1 based slate that is dubbed iBall Slide WQ32 Tablet bearing a price tag of Rs 16,999. The tablet is claimed to hit the retail shelves in few weeks. Apart from this 3G business tablet, iBall also appears plan the launch of a 10.1 inch 2-in-1 device by the end of this month.
This iBall Slide WQ32 not only carries the credits of being the first Windows tablet fro the vendor, but it also comes stuffed with Intel Atom chipset. Launched in collaboration with Microsoft and Intel, the iBall tablet includes 1 year Microsoft Office subscription, Windows Defender Antivirus and Firewall, 1 TB of free OneDrive cloud storage for a year with OneDrive Sync.
In terms of specifications, the iBall Slide WQ32 boasts of an 8 inch HD IPS display with resolution 1280×800 pixels. A quad-core Intel Atom 3735D processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM operates under the device providing it enough processing power. There is ample 16 GB of native storage that can be further extended by another 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
Also, the slate features a 5 MP primary camera with auto focus and flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera that can make video calls and click selfies. Other goodies that the iBall Slide WQ32 Tablet include connectivity features such as 3G via in-built SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, USB OTG and HDMI and a 14 Wh battery that can provide a decent backup to the device.
The manufacturer touts that the tablet can be connected to a slew of plug-and-play accessories and peripherals including speaker, mouse, scanner and projector to enhance the user experience.
