Idea Whiz With 4 Inch Display and Dual Core Processor

Last time we talked about Idea Aurus 2 which did not have impressive hardware specs and it was an average phone available in that price range. The screen size was the main problem because in that same price Micromax has been offering a 5-inch phone with almost similar specs. So, in little higher price range of 8,000 INR Idea has launched a phone named Idea Whiz with Dual Core processor and few other specs which are obviously better than Idea Aurus 2 (except few features).

The screen size of this phone is 4 inches which provides the display resolution of 800 x 540 pixels (qHD display) something which was not available on Idea Aurus 2 and another thing which is new is the processor which is Dual Core this time as compared to the single core processor used in Idea Aurus 2. The camera specs available on this new phone is similar to that of available on Idea Aurus 2 which is 5MP camera as the primary camera at the back panel of the phone and 0.3MP camera in the fron as the secondary camera.

The internal Storage capacity of the device is 4GB (no info on out of which how much will be usable by the user) and it can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of external storage card slot. The bas part about this phone is usage of Icecream Sandwich, especially when they have used Jellybean on Idea Aurus 2. The battery strength of 1500 mAh is also decent as per the screen size of the phone.

These phones from cellular service provider if bought at higher prices as compared to the other phones by Micromax, Karbonn, Lava and others may prove out to be beneficiary because you will get subsidy in 3G data pack usage or in the call rates when using the connection of the same cellular service provider. The price of this phone is 7850 INR and it will be available in the electronic stores after a while.
