InFocus M812 and M370 Will Get Marshmallow Update

InFocus, the American smartphone giant, has announced that two of its devices – the flagship smartphone launched in late September, InFocus M812 and the budget smartphone InFocus M370 which was launched earlier in July, will be updated to the latest version of Android i.e. Marshmallow by the end of 2015. Though, exact date is not mentioned but it will be next month.

Infocus M812 based on Android Lollipop 5.0, was launched back in September and comes with some impressive features to boast of. M812 packs a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by a 2.5 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. The internal storage on this smartphone is 16 GB which can be expanded up to 128 GB. M812 boasts of 13 MP rear camera along with an 8 MP front facing camera. This smartphone packs a 2900 mAh battery under the hood to keep it running long enough without needing charge.

Coming to InFocus M370, it is a budget friendly Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based smartphone sporting a 5.0 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels ) display and is powered by a 1.1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage on this 4G LTE enabled smartphone is 8 GB which can be expanded up to 64 GB with microSD card. It features the usual camera combination of 8 MP and 2 MP rear and front cameras. M370 is powered by a 2230 mAh battery.

As you can see in the image above the date 31 Dec, 2015 is mentioned but this do not reveal anything further. But we can guess that InFocus plans to update these smartphones by the end of this year.
