Intex Elyt Dual Royal Red Edition launched: Features, Specifications and more

Indian smartphone maker Intex has introduced a limited edition variant of their ELYT Dual smartphone. It is named as the Intex Elyt Royal Red Limited Edition. The device comes with the same specifications as the original device but the phone is now available in a plush red colour.

While the trend for limited edition phones is gaining importance in flagship and mid-range phones, we are now seeing the same come down to budget smartphones with Intex. The Intex Elyt Dual is an entry-level smartphone which now comes with a deep red colour as a limited edition device.

Following the trend of limited edition devices from higher range devices, Intex has brought down the same for entry-level smartphones. The Intex Elyt Dual is now available in a Royal Red Edition. The phone now comes in a deep shiny red colour, with the front bezels remaining in white colour.

In terms of specifications, the phone features a 5 inch IPS LCD panel with HD resolution and it comes with a 2.5D curved glass. The Intex Elyt Dual gets its name from the Dual front-facing cameras. It has an 8MP (f/2.0) + 2MP (f/2.2) sensor setup for the front camera and an 8MP rear camera with autofocus.


Coming to hardware, the device is powered by a quad core Spreadtrum 9850 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. This processor is coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage out of which 11GB is usable. Also, there is a microSD card slot that allows you to expand the internal storage up to 128GB. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The Intex Elyt Dual comes with a 2,400 mAh battery and features Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, microUSB port and a 3.5mm earphone jack as standard connectivity options. The device is available at Rs. 6,999 and can be purchased from offline stores.
