Intex has once again unveiled a bunch of Cloud series phones along with a 6 inch phablet Intex Aqua i15 on their official webpage. The Intex Aqua i15 will compete against Micromax Canvas Xl launched recently. Let’s see what domestic manufacturer is offering apart from the massive display.
Intex Aqua i15 is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor MT6582 which you can expect to see a lot in sub 10,000 INR range in 2014. The processor is backed by 512 MB RAM which will be a performance and multi tasking limitation. Internal storage is 4 GB out of which 1.7 GB will be available at user end. MicroSD support up to 32 GB is also available.
The Dual SIM smartphone comes with a 6 inch display with qHD 960 x 540 resolution similar to Micromax Canvas Xl. The software is Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system which will provide you with rich Android experience.
The primary camera has an 8 MP sensor and enjoys LED flash support for low light condition. The 2 MP camera at the front cam be used for video calling.
The battery capacity is 2400 mAh. Intex has not specified the talk time you will get from this battery. Connectivity features include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS / aGPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The phone is 9 mm thick will be available in black white and Blue colors.
If you are looking for only a 6 inch display in the vicinity of 10,000 INR mark, this might be the answer, but if you won’t mind a 5 inch display (or smaller) there are several other better options available. Intex Aqua i15 will be soon available for purchase.
