Intex Cloud X3 with Android 4.2 and 3.5 Inch Display at Rs. 3790

Intex today launched a new entry level Android device in Indian market, the Cloud X3, which comes with Android 4.2 jelly bean Operating system and 3.5 Inch Display and is priced at 3780 INR.

This device is equipped with dual core MT6572 MediaTek Processor which is clocked at a frequency of 1 GHz. This is a pretty good processor for an entry level device. Recenty Lunched iBall Andi 3.5KKE, an entry level smartphone from iBall also had a 1 GHz processor but with only one core. The RAM capacity is 256 MB which is quite less but Entry level devices are meant for general purpose usage and not extensive gaming. The internal storage of 115 MB will leave you Hungry for more and the storage can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card.

This device surprisingly comes with Android 4.2 jelly bean which is rare in this price segment. Most of the entry level devices come equipped with Android ginger bread of Android ICS. The Cloud X3 comes with a 3.5 Inch display which is quite standard in this price range. The display resolution is also pretty standard at 320 X 480 giving you a pixel density of 165ppi similar to iPhone 3GS.

The primary camera is of 2 MP and a front VGA camera is also present but due to lack of 3G will restrict its usage. You can still use Wi-Fi for video calling. This Dual SIM phone comes with connectivity features like 2G, GPRS, WiFi, EDGE, 3.5 mm audio jack and Bluetooth.


The battery capacity is about average at this price range at 1450 mAh. This will give you 6 hours of talk time and about 200 hours of standby time. For an Entry level phone this phone comes with a decent processor and upgraded Android version. This device is meant for general purpose usage and you can buy it if you plan to upgrade yourself from feature phone to an Android device.
