Intex launches iRist Junior for Rs 3,999

Intex has unveiled a new device in its iRist series of smartwatches called the iRist Junior. The iRist Junior is aimed at children andi s the first IOT-based wearable device from Intex.

The iRist Junior is powered by Mediatek 6261A processor and 4 MB of RAM. The device comes with 16 MB of memory.

Intex iRist Junior With 2G And Auto Call Support

The Intex iRist Junior comes with a 0.97-inch TFT display with 128×64 pixels resolution.  It comes with a 2.5D curved glass display and has 2G sim support.

The iRist Junior has IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. The device is compatible with Android 4.4 or above and iOS 7 or above.

The iRist Junior comes with Auto Call and Voice Chat features. Parents can call and listen even if the child does not answer the call. Voice Chat allows the child to talk to the parents.

The iRist Junior has Geo Fencing feature that limits the child’s movement to limited places and whenever the child steps beyond these pre-defined places, the watch sends a notification to the parents about this.

The iRist Junior comes with WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity options. Parents can  keep track of their child’s movement using the GPS.

The watch also has an SOS button. The child can press this button and send an alert message to a pre-defined list of people. The device is powered by a 600mAh battery.

The Intex iRist Junior has been priced at Rs. 3,999 and will be available in blue, yellow, orange and green colors.
