Lava India launched Iris 405 with 4 inch display Jelly bean at Rs.7,499 INR

Few days back we have seen the Indian Handset manufacturer, Lava has launched one Smartphone Lava Iris 455, which we have already covered but the official pricing of the device was awaited . The company now, has announced another device Iris 405 and have official declare the pricing of both Iris 455 and Iris 405 where the Iris 455 has got the price tag of Rs.8,699 and Iris 405 got the price tag of Rs.7,499.

From the name and the price tag, it is clear that this new device Iris 405 will display some lower specs as compared to its predecessor Iris 455. Both the device has got a major look difference. Iris 455 got oval shape body where the newly introduced device 405 got the rectangular shaped body with the small curved edges. The display size of 405 is 4 inches which is smaller than Iris 455 which has the screen size of 4.5 inches.

If we compared the technical specs, we can observe that apart from the display size, both the device shares many common features with some minute difference. Both the devices are 3G enabled and runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system with 1 Ghz dual core processor. The internal memory is also same for these two devices which is 4GB with microSD slot. The camera also got the same pixels capacity and both have a 5MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a front VGA camera but there is difference between the camera quality and functionality. While the IRIS 455’s camera has face detection, panorama and HDR mode, the IRIS 405 has a camera with 8X digital zoom, image stabilization and zero shutter lag.

Overall talking about the specs this Dual-SIM support device Iris 405, gets the 4-inch display with 800x480p resolution powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and will be operating Android 4.1 jelly bean which is not the latest version but a best suited one with the price tag of Rs.7,499. It wil sport the 5MP AF rear camera with LED flash and VGA front camera for video chatting. The device will also support the basic connectivity including 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, micro USB and 3.5mm jack.

So it looks the company is trying to provide the option to the user and select the best as per there requirement. The new device Iris 405 also looks good with the technical specs and worth for the price tag especially when a person want to get some android experience and so we agree with the company’s expectation, that this device can be preferred by both students and professionals who want to get the best android experience without much sacrificing on performance or features. The device will be available soon in the market with the price tag of Rs.7,499.
