After starting the pre-orders for the JioPhone just two days ago, Reliance Jio has now stopped accepting the bookings temporarily. The pre-orders started on August 24, and the company has claimed that millions of units have already been booked. The bookings have been halted due to excess-demand of the JioPhone.
As soon as the pre-orders began, there were multiple website crashes during online booking of the JioPhone. The website currently shows a message saying, “Thank You India! millions have pre-booked the Jiophone.” This message is accompanied by a ‘Register Now’ box. When you register with the site, it will notify you when bookings resume.
