Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G

Karbonn Mobiles today launched a brand new smartphone called the K9 Kavach 4G. It is one of the first smartphones to come with the official BHIM app integrated into the system. It also offers features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G Specifications

The Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G comes with a 5 inch HD IPS LCD display. The pixel density of the phone is ~294 PPI. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Powering the smartphone is a 1.25GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card up to 32GB.

The K9 Kavach 4G comes with 5MP cameras on both the front as well as the back. Both the cameras also feature an LED flash each for assistance in low-light conditions.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The phone is powered by a 2300 mAh battery.

One of the main talking points of the K9 Kavach 4G is its BHIM integration. Karbonn has worked on BHIM integration in partnership with NPCI, the National Payments Corporation of India. This partnership intends to further improve the usage of UPI-based cashless payments system in the country.

Pricing and Availability

The Karbonn K9 Kavach 4G has been priced at Rs. 5,290. It will be available with offline retailers across the country.
