Kult Impulse launched for Rs. 8,999: 18:9 display, 4,000mAh battery, more

Indian smartphone maker Kult has announced the launch of its latest budget device, the Kult Impulse. This is the first smartphone from the company this year and it comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,999.

Kult had earlier launched the Gladiator and Beyond smartphones, both priced at Rs. 6,999. The Kult Impulse comes with the trending 18:9 display and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery which is more than enough to provide a full day of usage.

Kult Impulse Specifications

The Kult Impulse runs on the outdated Android 7.1.1 Nougat and features a 5.99 inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device comes with a 2.5D curved glass.

In terms of performance, the Kult Impulse is powered by a Quad Core Mediatek MT6739 processor coupled with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. In terms of memory, the device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.


Coming to the camera department, the Kult Impulse features a 13MP primary camera with dual LED flash. On the front, the device sports a 13MP secondary camera with an LED flash for selfies and video calling.

The Kult Impulse is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. Dimension wise, the device measures 164.8 x 76.7 x 8.65 mm.

Pricing and Availability

The Kult Impulse has been priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be available across the country starting from tomorrow.
