Lava has teased an upcoming Selfie centric smartphone as the next entrant in its popular X series. The smartphone will be Lava Iris X5 which appeared in Import data few days back with a 5 inch display and expected price of under 10,000 INR.
The unique thing is that the front camera will have a flash and a wide angle lens so that you can place more people in the camera frame. The Display is confirmed to be 5 inches in size from official teaser and import data. The internal storage is 8 GB according to import data and RAM capacity is expected to be 1 GB.
The handset will carry forward the legacy of Iris X1, which was recently revived with 8 GB internal storage and will compete with the upcoming Android One smartphones. Lava Iris X5 is also expected feature latest Android 4.4 KitKat at the software front.
More and more manufacturers are giving due importance to the front camera these days, owing to the huge popularity of selfie images among youngsters.
