Indian smartphone company Lava on Wednesday expanded its Z-series of smartphones with the Lava Z91. The Lava Z91 smartphone comes with the latest 18:9 Full Vision display. The Lava Z91 price in India has been set at Rs. 9,999.
Lava has four smartphones in its Z-series lineup – Lava Z60, Lava Z70, Lava Z80, and Lava Z90 – which it had launched in October last year. Apart from the Full Vision 18:9 display, the new Lava Z91 comes with highlight features like 3GB RAM, 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera with face unlock feature as well.
Lava Z91 specifications
The Lava Z91 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) Full View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. The dual-SIM phone runs Star OS 4.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. It is powered by a MediaTek MTK6739 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone has 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
In terms of camera, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The rear camera also comes with a Bokeh mode feature. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. The front camera also comes with a video beauty feature with the Star OS 4.2.
The Z91 also comes with face recognition technology for unlocking the smartphone. It also has a fingerprint sensor as well and a user can set all five fingers as shortcuts to open applications. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS etc.

The Lava Z91 is priced at Rs. 9,999 in India. Lava has also announced that the Z91 comes with 2-year warranty and one-time free screen replacement offer. Moreover, buyers of the smartphone can also avail a Rs. 2,000 cashback offer from Airtel.
