Lenovo A5000 with 5 Inch HD Display and 4000 mAh Battery at 10,250 INR

Lenovo is ready to introduce a new member in its successful A series, and this one will have a massive 4000 mAh battery. Lenovo has always acknowledged the need for high battery capacity as is evident from phones like P70 and S860, and now Lenovo A5000 is reportedly coming for 10,250 INR.

The reports come from trusted retailer MaheshTelecom. As you would have noticed, Lenovo A5000 is more expensive than A6000, A6000 Plus or even A7000. This is because the phone will be available on brick and mortar store and isn’t a flash sale exclusive.

The 4000 mAh battery supports quick charge and can be fully charged in 3 hours. A5000 employs a Spash proof display, 5 Inches in size with 720p HD resolution and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core MT6582 SoC with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage.

Software is Android 4.4 KitKat based Vibe UI which comes loaded with an extensive set of DoIt apps and some other productivity apps. Speck junkies might not be happy that Lenovo is offering an 8 MP LED flash supported rear camera paired with a 2 MP fixed focus front snapper.

Because of the copious battery, this 9.98 mm thick device tips the scale at 160 grams. Other features include MicroSD card slot, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, WiFi and Dual SIM card slots. The handset will be available in black and white color options and is expected to go official very soon.
