Lenovo A7000 to Go Official in India on April 7

Lenovo has started sending out media invites for an event to be held in India on April 7. The invite shows the Dolby Atmos Theater and it s expected to launch the Lenovo A7000 smartphone in the country as it is the only device to feature Dolby Atmos audio.

The Lenovo A7000 is given a 5.5 inch HD IPS display that carries a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6752M processor that is backed by a 16 core Mali-T760 graphics unit and 2 GB of RAM for graphic handling and multi-tasking.

The imaging hardware of the A7000 includes an 8 MP main camera unit at its back that is supplemented with auto focus and LED flash. Also, there is a 5 MP front facing selfie snapper for clicking self portrait shots and video conferencing. There is 8 GB native storage capacity that can be expanded further with the help of a micro SD card. A 2,900 mAh battery powers the smartphone from within.

Other features of the Lenovo A7000 include connectivity aspects such as dual SIM functionality, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Based on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, the A7000 includes Dolby Atmos technology for superior audio quality.


Launched in a slew of color options such as Onyx Black, Pearl White and Laser Yellow, the Lenovo A7000 is likely to be priced in the sub Rs 10,000 price bracket.
