Lenovo has launched its Windows 8 based IdeaPad Flex, which flips up to 300 degrees and sports 10 point multitouch screen. This dual Mode PC has been priced at 42, 250 INR and has been designed for both work and entertainment purposes.

You can flip the 14 inch HD display (1366 x 768) in laptop mode and stand mode. The Stand mode is designed for touch usage to deal with touch based apps. AccuType keyboard and One-piece multitouch touchpad are also a part of the laptop experience that you will get in this device.

The webcam is capable of 720p HD recording and to ensure long term durability and advanced energy-saving of battery Lenovo has provided with ‘Energy manager’ . The IdeaPad Flex Notebook will be powered by Intel’s 4th generation core i3 to i7 processors which are known for efficient battery consumption. The Battery capacity will be up to 48 Wh capable of supporting 9 hours for Windows 8 Idle at 150 nits or 6 hours for FHD playback at 150 nits.

You will get 4GB DDR3L RAM and connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 2 SD/MMC card reader, combo of 1/8″ stereo headphone output and HDMI. You can also use voice commands to activate various functions.
