Chinese tech maker Lenovo has launched a new tablet called Lenovo Tab S8 with support for voice calling in India for Rs 16,990. The tablet will be made available exclusively via online retailer Flipkart starting from today.
The Lenovo Tab S9 comes fitted with a FHD display measuring 8 inches in size as its name indicates and boasts a screen resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. Also, the screen is based on OGS screen technology (OGS) that will make the screen thinner and more responsive. Powering the device is a quad core Intel Atom Z3745 processor clocked at 1.86 GHz and this processor is claimed to be optimized to render great performance, energy efficiency and improved battery life. Also, there is 2 GB of RAM that will take care of multitasking.
The Lenovo Tab S8’s storage department comprises of 16 GB of native storage capacity that can be further expanded by another 64 GB using a micro SD card. On the software front, it is fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system that is resource rich.
To take care of imaging department, Lenovo Tab S8 features an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture for better low light performance. Furthermore, there is a 1.6 MP selfie camera at the front for video conferencing. The slate comes with a SIM card slot with support for voice calling and 4G LTE/3G data connectivity and other connectivity features including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. A 4,290 mAh battery operates within the tablet to pump a decent backup to it.
