We have spent some quality time with Vibe X2 over past couple of weeks and this post is an attempt to answer popular questions regarding Vibe X2 that we have been getting.

Answer – Yes, It does have LED notification light.

Question – How Many Sensors does Vibe Z2 have?


Answer – Lenovo Vibe X2 comes with accelerometer, light, proximity, orientation and magnetic sensors.

Question – Does Vibe X2 come with Gorilla Glass 3 on the Display?

Answer – Yes, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection is present on top

Question – How much Did Vibe Z2 score in Antutu, Quadrant and Nenamarks?

Answer – The Vibe X2 scored  58.5 Fps at Nenamark2 and 46,271 on Antutu Benchmarks. Performance was mostly smooth. Graphic performance wasn’t the best that we have seen but is far from being disappointing.

Question – Does it Support USB OTG?

Answer – No, Lenovo Vibe X2 supports USB OTG Connectivity.

Question – Does Vibe X2 support WiFi Hotspots?

Answer – Yes, Vibe X2 does support WiFi hotspots functionality.

Question – Out of 32 GB how much storage is available at user end?

Answer –  More than 26 GB is available at user end. There is no separate partition for apps.

Question – How is the Display?

Answer –  The 5 Inch full HD display is a very decent quality panel. Viewing angles are great and so is the color reproduction. Touch is smooth and responsive. The display is also covered by Gorilla Glass 3 which makes it durable.

Question – What comes inside the Box?

Answer – Vibe X comes with USB cable, headphones (in ear, good quality), 1.5 Ampere Charger, SIM ejection tool, USB cable, scratch guard, transparent case and documentation.

Question – How is the Camera Quality?

Answer – The camera quality is good, but again not the best that we have seen. The camera app is simple to use with some useful filters. The camera wasn’t very snappy and we did encounter some shutter lag at times. Day light performance was very good. Camera struggled with colors in low light condition

Question – Can Camera Record 1080p Videos?

Answer – Yes, both front and rear camera can record 1080p Full HD videos.

Question – How is GPS Locking?

Answer – GPS locking worked fine for us even indoors

Question – What kind of SIM card does Vibe X2 support?

Answer – Vibe X2 Accepts Micro SIM and Nano SIM card. You cannot make 3G Video calls directly via cellular network. Both SIM cards support 4G/3G.

Question – How Loud is Loudspeaker on Vibe X2?

Answer – The loud speaker is loud enough. speaker is at the back which means the sound gets muffled when its resting on its back.

Question – Can Vibe X2 play Full HD 1080p Videos?

Answer – Yes we tried playing a few HD and Full HD videos everything worked smoothly.

Question – Can Vibe X2 be connected to Bluetooth headsets?

Answer – Yes, you can connect it to Bluetooth headset

Question – Will Lenovo offer Android 5.0 Lollipop Update?

Answer – Lenovo hasn’t guaranteed or confirmed Lollipop upgrade yet. It’s likely that Motorola will offer the update, but the time frame for the same is anybody’s guess.

Question – How is the battery backup?

Answer – Battery backup is average. we could get one day backup with moderate usage. On screen time is between 3 to 5 hours.

Question – How is the Build Quality of Vibe X2?

Answer – Build quality is the highlight of this phone. The metal frame unibody smartphone with slim profile and different color layers stacked on top of each other works well for us.

Lenovo Vibe X2 is a well crafted unibody smartphone with MT6595 octa core 4g LTE chipset powering the device. While it impresses with day to day performance, camera performance and UI leaves us wanting for more.
