To begin with, the LG G series has been the company’s flagship series alongside the V series. Its current flagship, the LG V30 was introduced last year and the LG G7 is expected to be unveiled at the CES this year. In the listing, the phone has been spotted an OLED display with Quad HD resolution.

The phone has been spotted with a dual rear camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. The device is also expected to come with a dual front camera setup.

Coming to specifications, the LG G7 is reported to come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 845 processor from Qualcomm. The processor is expected to be paired with 6GB RAM. While the storage is not yet out, we can expect there to be 64GB internal memory with an expandable memory option as well.

The LG G7 is tipped to arrive at the CES and Samsung has also confirmed the launch of their Samsung Galaxy S9 duo at the event. Since LG V30 lost the limelight due to stiff competition from Samsung and Apple, the company is ready to compete this time around. “We will not be worried of the Samsung Galaxy S9 launched in March, but will prioritize the G7 differentiation,”  Hwang Jung-hwan, head of mobile communication’s business division at LG said while speaking with ETNow.
