LG Signature Edition announced: Luxurious phone with flagship specifications

Korean tech Giant LG has introduced the latest smartphone in their premium segment, the LG Signature Edition in Korea. The phone features a premium material chassis and comes with flagship specifications borrowed from LG’s latest flagship.

With LG V30 inspired looks and similar specifications, the premium LG Signature Edition comes with a zirconium ceramic back that prevents scratches. Buyers can even customize this phone by laser printing their names on it. While there is no word on pricing, there will be only 300 models made for the LG Signature Edition, said LG Korea Newsroom.

LG Signature Edition Specifications

Like we earlier mentioned, the LG Signature Edition is inspired by the company’s latest flagship, the V30. The device sports a 6-inch OLED display with QHD+ (2880 x 1440p). It comes with 18:9 aspect ratio and 538ppi, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The back of the phone is zirconium ceramic which is highly scratch resistant.

Cominng to optics, the device comes with a 16MP (regular lens, f/1.6) + 13MP (wide angle lens, f/1.9) dual rear cameras. These cameras are equipped with Laser auto-focus, OIS, EIS, and PDAF. A 5MP unit functions as the front-facing camera. This is also a wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture.


In terms of hardware, the LG Signature Edition will feature a Snapdragon 835 processor, coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. The device will pack 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card. In terms of audio too, the phone will be equipped with a 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC.

It will run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with LG UX 6.0+. It will come with QuickCharge 3.0, USB Type-C, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, NFC, and 4G VoLTE as some standard connectivity options.

You get B & O wired earphone and B & O Bluetooth earphone included in the box, along with special after-sales terms. Also, there will be only 300 of these devices made so it doubles up as a good collectible too.
