Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax today unveiled the latest addition to the  Canvas Fire-series, the Canvas Fire 5. The device has been priced at Rs. 6,199. It will be available in Champagne, Grey, and Silver colors. The device comes with a 5.5 inch HD IPS display and a 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek Processor.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 5 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device features a 5.5 inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of ~267 PPI.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 5 is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek Processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 5 features an 8 MP primary camera along with a 5 MP front camera for selfies. The device comes with dual front audio speakers and Aura 3D Sound technology to provide a realistic surround sound experience to the user.

The device is powered by a 2,500mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the dual SIM device includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 5 has been priced at Rs. 6,199 and will be available in Champagne, Grey and Silver color options. It comes with 6 months of free Gaana Plus music streaming, with unlimited downloads for offline listening.
