Micromax, the local smartphone manufacturer has been on smartphone launching spree lately and continuing the trend another device dubbed as Micromax Canvas Mega E353 has been listed by online retailer Flipkart. Speaking of the new smartphone it carries a price tag of INR 8,320 and will be exclusively available in Slate Grey color via the online and offline retail mediums.
Android v5 Lollipop based Canvas Mega E353 boasts of a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by an Octa core MediaTek processor clocking 1.4 GHz coupled with a meager 1 GB of RAM. Majority of the smartphones in this price range come with at least 2 GB of RAM and without the shadow of a doubt less amount of RAM is certainly a downside for Canvas Mega. Again this smartphone comes with just 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB with microSD card.
Canvas Mega comes with dual sim functionality but lacks the 4G LTE connectivity option which is another deal breaker for many potential buyers. This smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front camera. A 2820 mAh battery under the hood is delivering power to this smartphone which will keep it running throughout the day on moderate usage. Last time we checked it was available for purchase on Flipkart.
