Micromax is all set to launch the third iteration of Canvas Nitro in India. The original Canvas Nitro was introduced to rival Moto G 2nd Gen last year, and the domestic manufacturer has tweaked and improved it by and by to help it stay relevant in the ephemeral market.

Nitro 3 Nitro 3_1

Micromax Canvas Nitro 3 has already been listed on IndiaTimes Shopping, but complete details about hardware specs are not available yet. The most noticeable change is presence of Android 5.0 Lollipop, probably with light customizations. The handset comes with a 5 Inch display powered by 1.4 GHz (octa Core) processor, paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The rear 13MP camera is complimented with dual LED flash and front 5MP selfie snapper. Other features include dual SIM support, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. The new Canvas Nitro doesn’t look very different, when compared to other Nitro series devices. Micromax has most likely improved the design and software aspect of Nitro 3.

The handset was first spotted by folks at Findyogi, and we are expecting Micromax to officially present it any day now. The Canvas Nitro 3 is already available at online and offline stores for 10,430 INR.

  1. hi
i am very confused and i need your help

i have 6k and wish to by a mobile

my requirements are to root it easily so that i can download apps and should have more internal memory

currently i use canvas hd which is 1gb only

    • I would say Redmi 2S will be the best available option in this budget range. This device features 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory and has added support for 4G. If you can slightly stretch your budget then Lenovo A6000 plus is also a very nice option for you.

    • Hi deepanshu , dont ever root lenovo a6000 plus, if you ever brick your phone, you cant get it back. i wasted my phone the same way 🙁
