Micromax has played its card right and launched Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 in India for just 4,999 INR. This makes it the lowest price Flash sales contender significantly and safely below its rivals like Redmi 2 and Lenovo A6000. The handset is only 8.5 mm thick and weighs 134 Grams.
The phone is targeting a market few notches below other online exclusives and offers top notch hardware in its league. For starters there is a 4.7 Inch IPS LCD display, with qHD 960 x 540 pixel resolution. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
At the heart of the device, there is a 1.3 GHz quad core MT6582 chipset with 1 GB RAM and expandable 8 GB internal storage. The tried and tested Android One combination is great proposition for the price. Software is new and fancy Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The dual SIM smartphone has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a basic 2 MP front snapper for selfies. The rear camera has a OV Sensor and a Largan Lens on top. Other features include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2000 mAh Battery.
