Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 With 5 Inch HD Display And Octa Core At 5,999 INR

Micromax has today launched a new affordable smartphone, the Canvas Express 2, which will be available in India only for 5,999 INR. For its price, the Canvas Xpress 2 has an enticing spec sheet, and Micromax is projecting it as an ‘efficient Multitasker’.

Canvas Xpress 2 is powered by 1.4 GHz octa core processor (MT6592M) and manages to be the only phone in its budget to do so. For all the ‘Multitasking’ talk, you would expect 2GB RAM, but there is only 1 GB to savor. There is 8 GB storage, expandable by another 32GB using MicroSD card slot to further assist the CPU.

Display is 5 inches in size with 720p HD resolution. Other features include Android 4.4 KitKat, 13MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, 2 MP front camera, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS and 2500 mAh battery.

Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 will exclusively be available on Flipkart via Flash sales starting 4th August, 2015. Registrations for the sale have already started. Vodafone consumers will also benefit from 500MB of free 3G data per month for 2 months with every purchase.
