Micromax has managed to garner the attention of consumers with the announcement of a slew of smartphones that pack impressive specifications at reasonable price points. The same goes with the Micromax Unite A092 that has been spotted on the company website. This entry-level smartphone is targeted towards the price conscious consumer base in the country. Lately, Micromax came up with Unite A106 in the country Rs 6,999.

As per the company listing, the Micromax Unite A092 boasts of a 4 inch IPS display packing WVGA resolution of 800×480 pixels. The device is equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor that is backed by 1 GB of RAM sweetening the deal. Also under the hood is 8 GB of internal storage space that can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.

Connectivity features in the Micromax Unite A092 include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and a 1,500 mAh battery powers the phone. Camera demands are met by the basic 5 MP primary snapper teamed up with LED flash for better low light imaging and a VGA front-facing shooter for making video calls.

Running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean platform, this dual SIM smartphone will definitely be a tough challenger to the quad-core entry-level smartphones in the market.


The Micromax Unite A092 is available in a range of color options such as Fiery Red, Vibrant Yellow, Mystic Grey, Classy Black and Pristine White. While the pricing of the smartphone is yet to be revealed, we expect it to cost below Rs 7,000.
