Microsoft Lumia 430 Launched in India at 5,299 INR

Microsoft made it clear in their invites that they were planning to launch something really affordable for the Indian Smartphone Market. Today, they have launched this device and it is now known as Microsoft Lumia 430. The device has been launched in India at the price of INR 5,299 and as per its specifications one thing is crystal clear that it is going to be a really good option as compared to other Android smartphones in this price range.

Unlike Android OS, Windows Phone OS does not need a high end hardware specification to run fluently. Hence, Snapdragon 200 for this OS will be really decent especially when it is being accompanied by 1 GB of RAM. Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 is a quad core processor which is operating at 1.2GHz. The display is of 4 Inches with the resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, which means that display clarity has been sacrificed a little. The internal memory space available for this device is 8GB (will let you know later about the internal memory space available for the users).

Preloaded version of OS will be Windows Phone 8.1 which will be upgradable to Windows 10. Now, camera is something where Microsoft has compromised a lot and this is Android Smartphones will easily take the lead. Indian users are highly focused towards getting a good camera, even when they have only 3000 in their pockets. Microsoft Lumia 430 has a primary camera of 2MP and then a VGA secondary camera (just to make sure that video calling feature is available with the device).

Battery strength of the device is 1500 mAh, something which is decent, considering the screen size and resolution of the display. This new Lumia contender fits fine with the other budget devices in this price range, however camera may be a turn off which will let the other users choose Android smartphones over this device. Let us know your opinion about this device.
