Flipkart has already sold out on all imported units in first 16 hours (more than 50,000 )in case you are hesitant regarding weather this new phone is for you, the following questionnaire will probably eliminate your doubts, to help you make up your Mind. Before we proceed let’s take a quick look at the specifications of Moto E.

Question Does it have LED notification?

Yes, It does have LED notifications. We didn’t have to install Notification Light Widget for notifications to work on our review unit, but if some  how its disabled from your Google Account, you can download Motorola’s Notification Light Widget for Free from Playstore


Question –  Can you Install Apps on SD card?
No, unfortunately you can’t install Apps on MicroSD card, but you can move the installed apps on MicroSD card. This means if your storage is somewhat filled, you wont be able to download heavy games on your Moto E.

QuestionHow Many Sensors does Moto E have?

Answer –  Moto E comes with Accelerometer, Light Sensor and Proximity Sensor

Question – How much Did Moto E score in Antutu and Nenamarks?

The Antutu and Nenamark  benchmark score of Moto E is as shown in the images above. Moto E scored 12,365 in Antutu  and 47.7fps in Nenamark2.  For its price range, the benchmarks score are among the best.

Question Does it Support USB OTG?
Answer
– In our Initial testing, USB OTG did not work on Moto E

Question – How many Speakers does Moto E have at the Front?

Answer – Moto E has only one front speaker. We played a few HD files on Moto E and the Audio was quite loud and clear. For outside usage, you might be needing some more loudness.

Question How is the Display?
Answer
– The display is bright and sharp considering the price range. Its certainly a step down from Moto G (especially in terms of Sharpness), but in this price range the display you could do a lot worse than Moto E. Since the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, it is durable as well. The touch works very well and UI transactions are much better than what we had hoped in this price range.

Question – Does Moto E support WiFi Hotspots?

Answer – Yes Moto E does support WiFi hotspots functionality.

Question What comes inside the Box?
Answer
– Moto E will come with earphones and a charger. Similar to Moto G charger, you wont get a detachable USB cable. You will have to buy a USB cable or use Airdroid.

Question – Is GPS Locking working Fine?

Answer – Moto E comes with GPS and GLONASS and the device successfully locked our location within seconds.

Question Is AutoFocus supported on Moto E?
Answer

Question – Can You disable or delete Preloaded apps in Moto E?

Answer – You can disable preloaded apps but can’t uninstall them.

Question What Kind of SIM card does Moto E support?
Answer
– Both SIM card slots will accept Micro SIM cards. The SIM card housed in the top slot will support 3G and 2G Both and the one below that will support only 2G.

Question How will Motorola provide After sales support?

Answer – Motorola has service centers in 22 states across India . You can login on Motorola webpage using your Google account and get the entire list and visit the entire list of service centers, spread across India. You can also chat with Motorola customer care executives(with an average waiting period of about 6 minutes) or contact them via email.

Question  –  Is it safe to buy from Flipkart?
Answer
– Yes it is safe to Buy from Flipkart. You will get 30 day replacement policy incase you are not happy with your Unit and we never had to go through any trouble getting ours replaced. The customer care is quite proficient.

QuestionHow is Sound quality from package headphones?
Answer – Its clear but not great and bass levels are low.
Question – How Loud is Loudspeaker on Moto E?
Answer – Its not very loud the sound output volume is just moderate not suited for outdoors with noisy environment
Question – Does google now work on Moto E?
Answer – yes, it works perfectly fine
Question – Does Moto E has Front Camera?
Answer – No , It does not have a  Front Camera
QuestionCan we make skype and other video calls from rear camera on Moto E?
Answer – yes, you can but video calling is going to be difficult as you wont be able to see the other person as you wont be able to see the screen when you broadcast yourself from rear camera
Question – Can Moto E play Full HD 1080p Videos?
Answer – It plays 720P HD videos. 1080p videos are not supported in default player. We tried to play 1080p videos using Mx player but the performance was very poor.
Question – Can Moto E be connected to Bluetooth headsets?
Answer – Yes, you can connect it to Bluetooth headsets
