Evan Blass tweeted two render images of the smartphone on his profile, both of which show the front side of the smartphone. If the leaks are true then this is the first time the Moto E series is getting a “Play” variant.

Moto E5 Play

There is no physical button on the front panel, and only the Motorola branding can be seen. This is new because the Moto E4 got the fingerprint sensor at the front with a touch reactive home button. There is a front-facing LED flash which can also be seen at the front panel of the smartphone.

There is no official confirmation from the company about the unveiling of its E5 series smartphones. But looking at the date in the render pictures, we can see that the date is set to April 3, 2018. This could be the day Motorola is planning to reveal the E series smartphones. Meanwhile, Moto E5 has already received the Bluetooth certification. The listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and sport a massive 4000 mAh battery.
