Last month Motorola announced its two new phones of its G-series, Motorola G4 Plus and Motorola G4. Although only Motorola G4 Plus was made available after the announcement. So now according to a new tweet from Moto india, Motorola G4 is going to available from 22nd of June exclusively on Amazon. The new Moto G4 is not much different from its sibling Moto G4 Plus except from few minor compromises.
The Moto G4 sports a 5.5-inch of Full-HD(1080p) display with gorilla glass 3 protection. Under the hood it has got the same specs as G4 Plus. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core chipset which is clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via micro-SD card.
On the camera front, it has got a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, and a 5MP on the front. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery which supports turbo charging. It runs on the Android Marshmallow (6.0.1). Though the Moto G4 lacks the fingerprint sensor and laser auto-focus unlike G4 Plus.
The price of the Moto G4 has not been revealed yet but the price will be lower than the base model of Moto G4 Plus which is INR 13,499. It will go on sale from 22nd June on Amazon. It will be interesting to see this device against the devices like LeEco Le 2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.
