Moto G7 Live Images Reveal Waterdrop Notch Display, Dual Rear Cameras

Motorola announced its Moto G6 series smartphones back in April this year. Now, just four months after the Moto G6 launch, we now start getting leaks surrounding Moto G7. The live images of alleged Moto G7 have surfaced online revealing its design.

As per leaked images on Chinese website Weibo, the upcoming Moto G7 can be seen sporting a waterdrop notched display. Notably, the waterdrop notch is the new trend started this year and companies like Oppo and Vivo are adopting this new type of display notch. Motorola seems to be following the trend as well.

The waterdrop notch houses the front camera and some sensors. The fingerprint sensor that was at the bottom of the Moto G6 has now been moved to the back of the phone with a Motorola logo just like the Moto G6 Play. Because of the waterdrop display with minimal bezels, the Moto G7 will sport a smaller body than Moto G6.

Further, the smartphone has a shiny glass back and vertically aligned dual rear camera setup with a dual LED flash. Moreover, other specifications are rumored to be similar to the Moto G6 Plus. So, it is expected that Moto G7 will get a Snapdragon 630 processor with up to 6GB RAM. For imaging, it will have a 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and 8MP front camera. It will be powered by a 3200mAh battery with Turbocharging support.

As per the leaked image, the device is being tested as Moto G6 Plus. So, the specifications of the device could be changed when the final version comes as Moto G7.
