Seems like Motorola will soon be joining the race of high end smartphones. Motorola may soon introduce the 2017 version of Moto Z, that is the Moto Z (2017). Moto Z was introduced last year with the innovative modular Moto Mods. However since all the companies are launching their flagships, Motorola is also expected to introduce its flagship, the Moto Z (2017) with few upgrades in terms of hardware to keep up with the competitors. Motorola Moto Z (2017) has been also spotted several times.
Recently in a presentation of Moto Mods at MWC 2017, Barcelona, Motorola gave a glimpse of an upcoming smartphone, the Moto Z (2017). The new Moto Z (2017) was paired with a new game-pad Moto Mod. It is pretty evident from the picture that it has undergone slight changes specially the Fingerprint sensor design. The fingerprint sensor on the previous Moto Z was a square shaped although the new Moto Z (2017) comes with a much better looking, oval shaped fingerprint sensor.
Recently, Sprint and Motorola teamed up to show off the Gigabit LTE service. Here again, the Moto Z (2017) was used to showcase Sprint’s Gigabit LTE service. Sprint wanted to show it’s speed on a device running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 which has X16 Gigabit class LTE modem. The device used to showcase the speed was the Moto Z (2017) which clearly indicates that it will be running on the very latest Snapdragon 835 chip-set.
Apart from this it may sport a 5.5-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM, and a Snapdragon 835 processor of course. It will be supporting even more numbers of Moto Mods as compared to the previous Moto Z. However nothing has been made official by Motorola yet but Sprint has pretty much hinted about Moto Z (2017). Although Moto Z (2017) can take a bit time to get launched but lets see what plans Motorola has got for the future.
Sprint also made an official statement that: “Motorola showcased the blazing-fast, high-bandwidth capability of a forthcoming flagship smartphone based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform with an integrated Snapdragon X16 LTE modem, supporting Gigabit Class LTE.”
