Motorola has started to roll out a new OTA update to the Motorola Moto G5 Plus. Currently, it is being pushed only to the Indian units of the smartphone. Featuring a firmware version of NPN25.137-67, the latest update brings video recording enhancements, data traffic optimizations, and other stability improvements.
To upgrade your Moto G5 Plus to the newest software, you need to download an update of just 214.7 MB. Due to this comparatively smaller size, you may also use mobile data to get it. Coming to the changelog of the brand new update, it is as follows.
- Better audio quality in video recordings
- Mobile data traffic optimizations
- VoLTE symbol in notification bar replaced with a more compact 4G calling icon
- Miscellaneous stability improvements
As you see, there are no major changes in the latest update of the Moto G5 Plus. However, it is nice to see Motorola putting significant emphasis even on negligible aspects. There are very few companies which do so.
