Motorola Sends Invites for May 13 Launch Event, Is Moto e on Cards?

It seems like the month of May is going to be a busy one as far as the tech happenings are concerned. Lately, LG announced that it will be hosting simultaneous events on May 27 for the official launch of its forthcoming flagship phone – LG G3. Now, Motorola has also let out media invites for an event scheduled to take place on May 13.

Indeed, Motorola is planning for simultaneous events in London and New Delhi and the invite reads “Made to last. Priced for all.” This tips that the phone that could be announced at the event could be a durable handset that is priced reasonably.

Analyzing the earlier rumors, there were claims that Motorola is prepping a budget smartphone called reportedly Moto E featuring a 4.3 inch display and running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The dual SIM smartphone is also speculated to incorporate a 1.2 dual-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of native storage, a 5 MP rear snapper and a 1,900 mAh battery.

If Motorola takes the wraps off the Moto E at the soon approaching event, the handset will be the first one that the firm is launching after its acquisition by Lenovo. Motorola has already relished success across the global markets with the launch of the Moto G priced at Rs 12,499. Now, if the Moto E is also unleashed with a reasonable price tag, the vendor will definitely gain success with its entry-level phone while the market is obsessed with many top-tier flagship models. This is possible as
the former Google acquired company aims at delivers superior features and affordable pricing in a single package.
