Nikon today launched two new cameras in its COOLPIX range. These two new camera’s, COOLPIX P7800 and COOLPIX S02, come with HD video recording capability and CMOS sensor, targeting those interested in easy operability.

COOLPIX P7800 has been designed to facilitate full scale manual photography. It is equipped with full-scale manual shooting functions available with digital SLR cameras. The CMOS censor is 1/1.7 Inch in size and is back illuminated. Another interesting feature is its Zoom functionality. You can telephoto 200 mm range of focal length with the help of 28 mm wide angle lense, covered with 7.1× optical zoom NIKKOR lens.
COOLPIX P7800 comes with an additional Electronic View Finder screen LCD with VGA resolution and with diopter adjustment function. You will also get 3-inch vari-angle TFT LCD monitor with wide viewing angle for which the RGBW system has been adopted.
COOLPIX S02 is equipped with a CMOS sensor with an effective count of 13.2-million pixels and a NIKKOR lens. It is the lightest and the smallest camera in the COOLPIX series so far. The size of the LCD monitor in this new entrant is 2.7 Inches. Unlike COOLPIX P7800 this will be available in Silver, White, Pink and Blue colors.
Nikon COOLPIX P7800 will be available from October and has been priced at 26,950 INR Whereas, COOLPIX S02 is relatively cheaper at 8,450 INR and will be available by mid September this month.
